Record is updated by local VAO - Village Administrative Office every year and updated to the District Thasildhar.

Patta indicates lawful possession and will be useful in the matter of determination of possession

All lands in the state is classified into various categories and maintained in the survey & land records.

The Government owned lands categories are:

Government Porambokes
Watercourse Porambokes
Road Porambokes
Reserve Forest Porambokes etc.,

Private General Public Owned Lands are:

Agricultural patta lands nanja (wet lands)
Agricultural patta lands punja (dry lands)
Residential patta lands
